GIOCONNDA STREETWEAR®
Launched by Francisco Henriques and Luís Silva in 2018, Gioconnda is a streetwear brand based in Viseu with the main objective of meeting the needs of those who would like to express their artistic side, but who sometimes end up not doing so for fear of that can be judged or set aside.
We founded “Gioconnda Streetwear®”, with the main objective of expressing ourselves through our clothes and wanting to create something that could be relatable to those who want to break “mediocre standards” but create confusion for those who follow them.
ETIMOLOGY
We have always been a team that is closely related to the arts, with our studies within the area. Gioconnda came about when we thought of a name that made sense and that went hand in hand with our area. We were inspired by the Mona Lisa painting as it is an icon of art and adopted its Italian name “La Gioconda”.
OUR VALUES
We want to bring the best possible quality to our pieces, making sure that safety and quality of work standards are met. Globally moving towards a sustainable industry, with parts manufactured in Portugal we can ensure that all our values are met.
